Planting out the last of the annuals

In the veg garden …

pot are interminable , which I really can not kick about as the wet weather has been a gift , and wo care about the weeds if we do n’t have to irrigate anything . The Cole crops are all mature so nicely , clearly they delight the cool and wet weather . The early wampum is heading up , as are spring harvesting of Brassica oleracea gongylodes ( both imperial and livid ) . The wet weather has held off cabbage butterflies , as I have n’t learn a individual one for some reason , possibly there is a late hatching ?

Once I tell apart the first cabbage butterfly , remay fabric must be stretched over the entire harvest of cabbage which will protect most from egg laying female butterfly . I do n’t mind trap from larvae on the kohlrabi , and since I rarely incur larvae in the meaty part of Brassica oleracea gongylodes , they persist uncovered . I test to cover these crops as late as I can conceive that the brighter sunlight ensures a well crop , although I have never really seen a difference in quality from covered crops from those receiving direct sun .
