Do your kids watchVeggie Taleson TV ? Mine do n’t ( we do n’t even have a TV in our barn ) , but Mom sometimes sings a song from Veggie Tales call theWater Buffalo Song .
In fact , she spill the beans it to our water buffalo , Ludo . This is how it kick the bucket :
“ Everyone ’s get a water buffaloYours is fast but mine is slow . Oh , where we get them , I do n’t know , but everybody ’s got a urine buffalo ! ”

Mom thinkseveryoneshould have a water system buffalo . That ’s because , she order , Ludo and his kin are so lovely , docile and odorous .
Mom and Dad got Ludo and his brother Fezzik from Tom and Shannon Olson ofTurkey Creek FarminTexarkana , Arkansas . The Olsons have hundreds of water supply
buffalo on their cattle farm ! Most of them are riverine ( dairy farm - character ) American bison like Ludo but some are swamp buffalo too .

Ludo andFezarrived last October when they were only a few days previous . They live together in a stall in the dairy farm goat shelter ( that ’s correct by my buck penitentiary ) , at least until Fezzik croak a few day before Christmas and Ludo was left all alone .
He was lamentable , so we stooge knew we had to be his special friend until he was prominent enough to live with Aiah the confidential information .
Now he ’s big and he know with Aiah but he still likes to stop by and lick us . His nose is wet and his tongue is bumpy , so it experience weird when he does that ( yuck ! ) . He sounds funny too , because he does n’t moo .

If you visit thePhilippine Carabao Centerwebsite ( carabaois another word for water system buffalo ) and get across onAbout Uson the top menu , you’re able to find out the sort of grunt that Ludo makes .
piddle buffaloaren’t just precious , they also do neat affair . Ludo is a steer and Mom is going to ride him some day , like
people do in a spot calledAsia .

If Ludo was a moo-cow , he ’d give lots of yummy , extrahigh - fat Milk River . Some people eat H2O American bison , too ( but Ludo is safe ; my mom and dad do n’t eat meat ) .
mommy amaze concerned in water supply buffalo when she wrote an article for Popular Farming : Cattle called “ Alternative Bovidae . ”
Now she ’s working on an article about them for the January - February 2010 outcome of Hobby Farms ; she ’s going to furnish some pictures of water system buffalo , too . She hopes Hobby Farm reader look at their cute faces and fall in love with them the way she did .
Uzzi and I tally : they ’re pretty nifty — even with those big , wet noses .
