Feel barren to partake !

Nelly Moser Clematis

It is one of my best-loved times of yr .   I enjoy now until November the most .   Winter I merely endure to get to this point . This post is a tour of what is blooming in my garden at this moment . Be discourage , there are a mountain of picture . No tutorials or sage gardening advice , just pure eye confect for the garden lover in all of us .

Clematis Nelly Moser

Lithodora

I can never capture how very blue blue the Lithodora flowers actually are , think more cobalt than what you see here .   The bees are loving my Lithodora so a great early Spring food for pollinators .    The greenish speckle of ground back to the right field is Creeping Chamomile .   It is a great little ground cover between stepping Stone and when you tread on it , it release a scent resonant of unripened apples .

Forget Me Nots

Ground cover Lithodora

The Baby Blue Eyes Forget me Nots are nearly finished blossom . Though they spread by cum they have not become invasive .   I will grind up a few maculation and station in my Secret Garden .   I do n’t have many former blooming thing in the Secret Garden yet .

Sweet reddish blue

Now these rascals are becoming rather pesky as far as spreading to areas that I do n’t wish them but a heavy enough mulch assistance .   I have mass to dig up and get free of .   I do bonk them in Spring though , they smell so sweet .

Baby Blue Eyes Forget Me Nots

Johnny Jump Ups

These sparky piffling guys reseeded themselves under a rosaceous bush .   They are unobtrusive and do n’t get over zealous .   So they are reserve to bloom and seed at will .   They are in the Secret Garden….speaking of which here is a photo of what it expect like at the moment .

That rug of green is California Poppies that reseed themselves from last year .   They are coming out .   I am point for only blues , pinks , purpleness and whites in my clandestine Garden so no orangeness .   I have plenty growing in the side garden so no great loss on yank them out of the Secret Garden . I will be bringing in muckle of sawdust and wood chips from a friend who has a lumbermill , I will use it to make meandering course so oodles of progress will be made this season in the Secret Garden .

Sweet Violets

Bourbon Clematis

This Clematis climbs the bower in front of my theater .   It gives me beautiful blooms prior to the pink wine open up and meet the arbor with gorgeous people of colour .   I involve to imbed another clemats on the other side to equilibrate it out .   A lily-white one like Duchess of Edinburgh .

Dianthus

Johnny Jump Ups or Violas

I constitute the Dianthus along the border of the terrace seat area of the Secret Garden , they are doing mythologic and will perform all summertime long , a bit of dead drift and they will keep on pumping out the flush .   I have a go at it this burnished fuchsia colour , well worth the $ 2.49 for the six battalion of plants last Fall .

My creeping Phlox is just about done but it was so pretty for the longest time .   It suffer the hot to cold weather we have been having for the past 6 weeks .   The mood can not make up its judgment . The former Iris are going unattackable and more are open each day .   I noticed several more this good afternoon that I will partake with you shortly and some were my raw Iris I got lastFall just for my Secret Garden .

I added a new to me flower bulb , with child Alliums and I am loving them .   I will definitely invest in more as they make quite the statement .

My Secret Garden in May 2016

I will , of class , have more garden walk photos to divvy up in the near future .   As the early pratfall fleet the next blossom in earnest to fill in .

well-chosen horticulture !
