An incredible collection of romantic blooms
Today ’s photos are from Patricia Smith .
My favorite moments of the Clarence Day are in my gardens . I love share my gardens and photos of my gardens with everyone in hope of providing them with a few moments of peace and repose .
It ’s hard to get more romantic and unagitated than a perfectrose . This looks to be one of the David Austin potpourri , combining honest-to-god - fashioned rosaceous forms with modern reblooming and growth wont .

Does any plant do plentiful , velvety red better than pink wine ?
Red , ashen , and bluish genus Petunia ( Petuniahybrids , Zones 10–11 or as an annual ) are join in thishanging basketby a yellow sedum ( Sedum‘Angelina ’ , Zones 5–9 ) .
Here ’s another grand rose . I know this angle , looking up at the nod flower , with more bloom buds and the blue sky above .

This brightly color rosiness looks like it could be the classic multifariousness ‘ Joseph ’s Coat ’ .
Thefront porchis lined withclimbing rosesjust dripping with blooms . climb blush wine do n’t cohere to structures by themselves ; each cane has to be cautiously tied into place , which can be a unmanageable process because of the thorns . Patricia ’s heavy work develop and take these roses has paid off incredibly . Her front porch is stunning .
Looks like the beautiful roses are popular with four - legged visitors to the garden as well !

This rise look like it might be the variety ‘ Dr. Huey ’ , which ordinarily ends up in gardens because it was popular as a root stock in the past . If a delicate variety grafted onto it dies , sometimes the root stock takes over and you get a rose like this .
‘ Double Knock Out ’ rose is a very popular kind because it is durable , disease resistant , and flowers heavily .
Peonies ( Paeoniahybrids , Zones 3–8 ) and bearded irises ( Irishybrids , Zones 3–8 ) heyday along a fencing . Peoniesand iris are standards in gardens new and old because they are so beautiful , reliable , and long - know .
