With most of the hard piece of work behind us , I ’m delighted with how our farmhouse has turn out and what I envision it evolving into as we wind up furnishing and adorn it — the latter of which will likely be a long and drawn out mental process . As we slowlysort and purgethe remaining loge and bin at my mom ’s house , I ’m pluck and choosing from the artwork and photos I display in the old house , as well as dreaming up new ideas to append ornamentation . It ’s not postcard ready just yet , but like many of you , I have the visual modality and stay to exercise toward it each and every day .
bounce ’s fickle temperatures have gifted us with some warm temperature that have jumpstarted our outside endeavors : young stairs for theback porchand the start of a patio using the bricks wesalvagedfrom the fireplace . I ’m rub to get my manpower and some plant in the shit as I eagerly count down the day to Derby Day — our received marking for secure planting in Kentucky .
I ’ve enjoyed apportion this enlightening and sometimes arduous journeying with you . I hope that my experience — good and spoilt — will bear witness helpful for any future remodeling or construction projects waiting to be ticked off your to - do tilt .
