It seems hard to think that just 8 1/2 calendar month ago , the Kickstarter campaign for our “ Growing simple-minded ” Holy Writ get hold of its destination , and our dreams of writing our first Home and Garden book became a realism .
To say that take on the project was a gargantuan travail might be the big understatement of the year for us !
We had originally hoped to fill out the entire committal to writing procedure by the end of October or the first part of November – and have the book out by former December . Looking back – that was a piece of an aggressive architectural plan ! I suppose with it being our first ever account book – we probably ( well , not probably , more like unquestionably ) underestimated how much time make , writing and editing would take !
The OWG / Weaver Barns “Simple House” Project at the Farm will be an exciting project for 2016!
But somehow , through the Spring , Summer and Fall seasons , with a small effort each and every hebdomad , we have put to work our way through the creation of the rule book . We have loved absolutely every moment of the process – but wow – does it take time to go back and forth to complete !
With that said – the end is in passel . We should wrap up the last two chapter by the end of the year , have net edits in January – and our initial copies back to us by mid - February in time for a previous February outlet . To say we are excited might just be the 2nd biggest understatement of the year !
As we have worked our style through creating the chapters of the book , it is unfeignedly our hope it helps to serve and enliven others who want to live a more simple lifetime through a DIY coming to living .
The OWG / Weaver Barns “ Simple House ” Project at the Farm will be an exciting undertaking for 2016 !
2016 should be an exciting year – with the book release scheduled for late February and book tour to play along – we should be in for a fussy Spring ! sum to that the construction of our theatre at the farm with the Simple House Project and of course a full gardening time of year – we might just be quick for hibernation next Fall !
But as always , it ’s about relish the process and stimulate fun along the style – and that we will for sure .
