Where efforts have been made to save birds like the American bird of Jove and many waterbird , those particular species thrive .   In the meantime , we ’ve lost runway of the razz we brush aside at the feeder , as we go for that their ice chest chum will presently arrive .

Unintentional poem . The point is that this trend clearly points to a future tense with zero birds . Forty - nine years is n’t much time . If that many birds can be lose within less than fifty long time , it wo n’t take long to disappear the relaxation . I say evaporate because the intervention of wildlife by humans is n’t far absent from those who head for the hills the gulag and the vote down fields . Not in terms of horror , of course , but by all odds in damage of efficiency . Our obsession with farming production , unimpeded growth , and spotless lawn has led to a insensate and thoughtless destruction of nature that may very well leave to the eradication of the planet .

In the end , the birds will be collateral damage .

Is there promise ? Well … first , let ’s elect a governing that cares whether or not our grandchildren have a planet to hold out on .

For the short terminus : there are theseven directivesCornell ’s Lab of Ornithology recommends that most average citizens / homeowners can easily travel along . Take a expression at them . The one I take to kernel include marking grown windows so birds can see them , reduce plastics , and , mainly , when it comes to gardeners , maintaining and creating habitat . I am not so certain this habitat has to be exclusively aboriginal . I have shrubs and tree of all form and birds love them . ( A gross ton of chickadee fall out in my Boston ivy . ) And the cats . Keep them inside or in their catio . That ’s all I got and , frankly , I do n’t have high hopes .
